Project Focus - Iggy The Iguanodon

Iggy, as he is affectionately known, is the standing Iguanodon sculpture at the Crystal Palace Dinosaur Park.

Built in 1854 by Benjamin Waterhouse Hawkins, incredibly Iggy has stood for 162 years, and despite looking better than most at that age, it was decided that in order to preserve him for many years to come, time had come for a bit of a make-over, a bit of dino- TLC if you will!....

This is a real boost for the product for us at Keim, as whilst we already know and advocate its sustainable credentials, recommendation from an independent body, such as the ASBP, gives greater recognition to the advantages of using mineral paints, not just Keim Optil.

Project Focus - De Vere Gardens DSCF1488

De Vere Gardens is a large, high end residential redevelopment in the much sort after location of Kensington. The redevelopment, designed by David Chipperfield architects, comprises 97 luxury apartments as well as a residents swimming pool and leisure facilities. As well as creating 6 new buildings the scheme retained 3 Victorian facades, blending the ‘old with the new’....

Project Focus - Peebles Mural WP_20151027_10_15_12_Pro

In 2012 a group of people from the Scottish Town of Peebles came together with the idea of creating a mural that would celebrate the history and culture of the town. Internationally recognised artist, Michael Jessing, who lives and works in the area, was commissioned to do the work. The mural was completed in 2015, and Keim Mineral Paints were the ideal choice for the decorative works as they will remain colourfast for decades to come...
